Things to Know

Vaccination Information

All dogs and cats lodging with us must have proof from your veterinarian that your pet is up-to-date on all required vaccinations. Vaccination records can be brought in with you or a Veterinarian can fax them to us in advance at 866.902.1250. Vaccination requirements include:

Dogs:

  • Rabies
  • Distemper
  • *Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Cats:

  • Rabies
  • Distemper

*If not current, Bordatella must be administered 3-5 days prior to staying.

What to Bring With You

  • Food - Bring your own food. It will help your pets during their stay. As boarding can cause anxiety and upset stomachs. Do not bring dishes as they are provided for you from Northern Paws unless your pets need special dishes such as slow feeders.
  • Medication - Please send medication if needed while your pet is staying with us (no additional charge). Please bring medications and/or supplements in their original containers so we are able to administer proper dosages.
  • Collar & Leash - Please provide a collar and leash for your pets who stay with us. They will need to be collared and leashed when walking into our facility. Most pets run free in our fenced yards unless specifically requested by owners that they be leashed walked.
  • Bedding - Please bring a bed or blanket for your pet to lay on during their stay with us. Make sure all blankets and bedding are machine washable. (Floors are concrete. In the winter they are heated with in floor heating.) Evergreen Suites provide a raised bed.
  • Toys and Treats - Your pet’s personal belongings are always welcome. Please send along something for your pet to keep busy with then spending time in their room (chews, bones, etc.)
  • Cat Condo - We provide a cat box, blankets, litter box, litter and dishes for all cat condos.
  • Please do NOT bring irreplaceable items.

Please Be Aware

Any toys, blankets, beds and bones you bring for your pet can be hazardous. We are NOT liable for any personal property destroyed, shredded or eaten by your pets.

We want all our guests to have a safe and healthy stay. So please be careful and thoughtful of what you choose to bring for your pets during their stay. 

We do our best to return all items you brought for your pets’ stay. Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle so do not bring irreplaceable items as they sometimes things get lost or destroyed.

Payment Policies

Arrival day is invoiced as a full day. Your pet may arrive anytime during our business hours on their arrival day. Pets checked out by noon on their departure day will not be charged for that day. After noon you are invoiced for a full day.

Please provide a 24-hour cancellation notice. Festival reservations require a minimum 3-day stay and a 72-hour notice for cancellations.

Be Aware: Sundays are invoiced as full-day stays as our office hours are only from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

All Holiday weekends, such as Memorial Day and Labor Day, require a 3-day minimum stay. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to reservation. The office is closed the Sunday before these holidays.

Customers who have weekend day reservations will be responsible to pay the full reserved stay of pet/pets if pet/pets are canceled after 24-hour notice and or are picked up early without 24-hour notice.
